Our Child Care Professionals

Elizabeth Adeyemi Obadun

Nursery Manager

My name is EIizabeth Adeyemi and I am the Manager at Magic Years Nursery. I joined Magic Years in June 2017. I began my career with children in 2006 at Hackney Play Association where I worked for 3 years. I joined London borough of Barking and Dagenham in 2009 and worked there with children in care for 4 years until 2014. I had a break in career to take stock of my life, I returned to work in 2016 after starting a family, I got married in 2014 and I have a 2 year old child. I worked at several different Nurseries with an agency.

The Deputy Manager is our baby room Leader and also the Nursery SENCO. She supports children with special needs at Magic Years. The children with particular types of special educational need do benefit from specialist help. This is given in small groups or one to one in the depending on the needs of the child/children or what is being provided. Parents are fully involved in any discussion and assessment of their child’s needs.

Our staff team are from a wide range of cultures able to support parents and carers in translation to other languages which defers from English. In Magic Years Nursery, we strongly support Newham Councils policy on Inclusive Education, which give the opportunity for all children to work together in the same type of nursery.

At Magic Years Nursery, our aim is to welcome all our parents and we as a team work to give your child every success and happiness whilst you are part our Nursery. We know that young children only get one chance at quality education and are therefore as a nursery we are committed to raising standards for children in all areas of their learning and development. The Nursery has formed a positive relationship with the local community who give their support to the nursery in helping the children understand the world outside of nursery walls. Weekly trips to the local supermarkets will soon be in reoccurrence.

We actively encourage you as parents to get involved with your children’s key person and the nursery staff to support your child’s learning journey. At Magic Years Nursery, we run an open door policy meaning you will have every opportunity to see me and my senior team members within the nursery. Please come over and say hello and ask any questions or concerns that you may have.

Each and every child care professional at Magic Years Nursery are qualified and experienced they aim to set high standards for your child.
