We actively encourage parents to get involved in your  child’s  learning and development  as a nursery we are very keen with working with partnership with parents and ensuring that communication between  your child’s key person and  your self  has been meet on a daily basis.   As a Nursery we provide daily feedback sheets as well as written communication on how your child has done in nursery we welcome parents views and ideas and we incorporate these in our nursery’s development. There are formal opportunities for you to discuss your child’s progress we hold a parents evening once a year If you want to discuss your child’s progress appointments can be made.

Settling In to the Nursery

We welcome you to stay until your child is happily settled, when your child starts nursery, we expect a parent/carer to be prepared to be with your child. Once the child has made relationships and appears to be happy in Nursery that is the time to leave him/her for short periods of time. This will be worked out with the Key Person to suit parent and child. This is an important step for the child and affects their whole attitude to Nursery now and in the future. Some children can take longer so please be patient.
